Interstate 15 southbound: from MP 16.341 to MP 21.539 The roadway is reduced to one lane, Expect delays, There is a width limit in effect, Speed restrictions are in force because the road is being repaved -- Look out for flaggers, Consider using an alternate route Expect 15 - minute delays., Speed limit 45 MPH, Width limit 10 ' 0 " from 06:00am to 06:00pm on weekdays — until September 1 Comment: This project on I-15, from the Deep Creek Interchange at milepost 16.34 to the Devil Creek Interchange at milepost 21.54 (both near the city of Malad at Exit 13) will be a paving operation. Fifteen minute delays are expected with flagging operations in place. The 10 foot width restriction is from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. The contractor will begin work on Monday, August 11, 2008 at 7:00 am. Flagging operation with lane reduction and delays only during daylight hours, 10 hours per day. Motorist should consider an alternate route and use caution around crews and equipment.

Travel will be reduced to one lane in construction zones, and the speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph. Interstate on- and off-ramps will remain open. Work will take place on weekdays and occasionally on Saturdays. Drivers should anticipate changing driving conditions, such as merging traffic, construction vehicles, construction workers and uneven surfaces. The project is scheduled for completion this fall.

Motorists can expect 15- to 30-minute delays. Travel will be reduced to one lane, with flaggers directing eastbound and westbound traffic through the work zone. The speed limit in work areas will be reduced to 45 mph, and a width restriction of 12 feet will be in force for commercial vehicles. Work will take place weekdays between 7 a.m. and 4:45 p.m., with some work possible on weekends. The project is scheduled for completion in August. Drivers should anticipate unusual driving conditions, such as merging traffic, construction vehicles, flaggers, pilot cars and uneven gravel surfaces.
